What does this version use?
The website code provided does not set any analytics or marketing cookies. No tracking pixels, ad networks or active affiliate trackers are connected. The site does use local browser storage for favourites and basic settings you save. External fonts and photos cause technical network requests; they are not proof that all processing is therefore privacy-free.
Storage overview
| Name / type | Purpose | Content | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| goodfind-saved · localStorage | Remember the favourites you choose | Sample deal IDs | Until you clear them; no automatic expiry |
| mwd-privacy-v1 · localStorage | Store basic settings after you click save | Version, functional preference, analytics=false, marketing=false and date | Until you clear the site data; no automatic expiry |
| mwd-notice-v1 · localStorage | Remember that you closed the privacy notice | Version and date of confirmation | Until you clear the site data; no automatic expiry |
The name goodfind-saved is a technical name from the first version. It contains no contact details. The hosting service may apply its own technically necessary infrastructure; the owner must check the actually published environment for this.
External services
Google Fonts supplies the fonts and Unsplash supplies some product photos. Your browser connects directly to their servers for this. Their own statements apply to their processing. The mascot and logo files are served from our own website. More information is in the privacy policy.
Your choices
You can remove favourites and save your basic settings via Cookie settings. Analytics and marketing are not available in this version and stay off. On a first visit, a compact privacy notice appears. "Got it" closes it; this does not give consent for tracking. You can show the notice again via Cookie settings. That is why there is no button pretending that marketing cookies are being accepted.
If tracking is added later, the site must explain in advance which services use data for what purpose and arrange the applicable consent. The option to refuse and to withdraw an earlier choice must remain easy to reach.
